This island of 6300 people is charming, a nice vacation! Here’s our very lovely suite!

Right now I’m sitting on one of the lounges outside in the sun, the breeze wafting overhead in the trees, with unknown birds serenading me. And...I’m in short sleeves! We alternate between this and long sleeves and a jacket all day long. So, let me tell you about our delightful vacation day...Rick Steves style.
We set our alarms for 8:30, but the church bells concert get us up at 8:00. That’s ok, it’s still sleeping in! Plenty of  time for breakfast, then we gathered for a bike ride! When in Denmark, ride like a Dane!

Zoom in, if you can, on this waterbottle!

Cobblestones...who needs a massage! Still, these bikes are awesome! They have coaster brakes, which took some time to get used to, and you sit up really straight. You shift grears when you’re not pedaling, which was also weird. Still, they’re great for getting around! I get why and how people live on these (in flat countries)!
We pedaled out to the tiny beach changing houses

Right on the Baltic Sea. Very windy!

We road for a couple of hours, by the end we felt pretty good about ourselves! We huffed up a hill, did some gravel, cobblestones, and generally had a great time.
