Under 14 Bridges-Must Be Stockholm!

We’re definitely North.
Here’s the light at 9:00pm (note the pretty moon above our host’s home)

And this isn’t just cause I got a new Iphone 10s, with a great camera. It’s really light out! It’s a little hard to remember to go to bed, except we’re really tired. We’ve been sleeping really well...untill the sun comes up at 4:00 in the morning! Of course the birds start earlier! Fortunately for me, Jess had recommended bringing eye shades, because the McMansion we stayed in there doesn’t have curtains. I didn’t use them there, but  here...they’re great! I can only imagine how I’ll love them in Iceland in a few weeks!
Look...Past the Swedish 4 pane window...a heated outdoor space! Brilliant way to extend the warm(ish) season!

We’re sleeping at a neighbor of the Thornberg’s home, since their home is filled with their 3 boys. Their names are Hua and Ulf. She’s been a wonderful hostess, and he came home from a business trip late last night, so we look forward to meeting him today. He’s quite an accomplished physics professor, traveling, spreaking, and advising to government, other schools, and the like. Magnus says if we get him going, he’ll explain the entire universe to us...over much whiskey. George’s opening line is going to be “which do you think has more promise...string theory or quantum dynamics?” That should do it, me thinks!

Today we head back into town on our own for an Under the Bridges tour, and a tour of the Drottningholm Palace, a 17th century summer castle and current royal residence. We’re told if the flag is up, they’re there. So, more on each of those to come!
